Jun 19, 2009· No. Technically two 5.25" drivers will move more air then one 6.5", but the 6.5" will probably be crossovered to allow a lower hertz. You'll probably be fine either way you go. Since the center channel typically doesn't deal with a lot of bass, and vocals are better reproduced by a smaller driver, I'd recommend the dual 5.25's, but that's just my opinion.
