For the sodium ethyl sulfate, I saw a video on YouTube about it, starting from sodium bisulfate (bisulfite?) and ethanol and after doing some research on the method, it seems like a hit or miss type thing at best. If you need nitroethane, I'd just order it from China. It might be somewhat expensive but it is a hell of a lot easier than making it.
